Open Position: Social Media Intern

Location: Sousse
Commitment: Part-Time

Key Responsibilities

Social Media & Digital Engagement:

  • Manage and grow The New Medina’s social media presence across platforms.

  • Develop and schedule engaging content showcasing heritage, events, and resident experiences.

  • Foster community engagement through storytelling, interactive posts, and multimedia content.

  • Who You Are:

  1.  A creative storyteller with a passion for cultural heritage and historic city revitalization.

  2.  Experience in journalism, public relations, social media management, or digital marketing.

  3.  Strong writing, editing, and media relations skills. 

  4. Ability to craft narratives that bridge tradition and innovation.

  5. Fluent in English (French or Arabic a plus).

Photographer & Videographer : Food & Culture Campaign

Commitment: Project duration (3 months)

Scope of Commission

Culinary Visual Storytelling & Campaign Development:

  • Conceptualize, direct, and deliver a full visual campaign centered on food as cultural heritage, from creative vision to final outputs.

  • Lead photography and filming of culinary practices, recipes, producers, meals, rituals, and food-centered events.

  • Assemble and manage a production team (camera, sound, editing) as required.

  • Produce high-quality photo and video assets for digital platforms, exhibitions, press, and archives.

  • Collaborate with the project team to translate food traditions and community narratives into compelling visual stories.

Ideal Profile

  • An established photographer/videographer or creative studio with a strong portfolio in food, culture, fashion or documentary work.

  • Proven experience developing cohesive visual campaigns, ideally related to gastronomy or heritage.

  • Strong creative direction skills with sensitivity to cultural, artisanal, and community-based food systems.

  • Ability to work autonomously and deliver within agreed timelines.

  • Fluent in English (French or Arabic a plus).
