A four-day photographic retreat with Peter Sanders, the world’s leading photographer of the Muslim world.
Hosted in Sousse’s UNESCO-listed medina, this exclusive program is built for photographers seeking to deepen both their technical practice and their way of seeing. The retreat combines structured skills-sharing sessions with immersive fieldwork, bridging perception, culture, and craft.
Program highlights include:
Perception and Practice: refining the art of seeing and translating observation into visual language.
Fieldwork in the Medina: guided sessions in varied light, texture, and movement within historic urban spaces.
Editing and Sequencing: sharpening narrative flow, from single frame to coherent body of work.
Mastering the Image: practical workshops on refining photographs from capture to final presentation.
This retreat is designed for both professional and committed amateur photographers. Applications will be reviewed by Peter Sanders and the selection committee on a rolling basis. Selected participants will be notified directly.

Early Bird Rate: $1,600 (until 15 September)
Regular Rate: $1,850
Optional Extension (2 November): $250
→ Includes olive harvest experience, and guided visits to Kairouan and El Jem
