Our story

The New Medina is our dream for old cities of the world. We envision ourselves alongside the wisdom of ancient traditions, support makers, and preserve heritage for future generations.

⬩We believe this dream is a reality that can be manifested and we started it in Sousse where our family heritage goes back to four generations.

In this process of bringing a vision to life we started to restore and re-imagine neglected buildings, in ways that have benefit to populations, local, regional, and foreign. Our first site launched in the UNESCO World Heritage medina of Sousse, Tunisia in 2021.

We envision world heritage zones that move from a museum model of infrastructure preservation to neighborhoods with living heritage, cultural economies, and enterprise that bridges the ancient with the modern.

Welcome to a place where experience and people are at the center of the memories we take back.
