The Little Dreamer’s Lab is a lab, design studio, and learning space for children to become fully alive, integrating traditional crafts, art, and technology, with the best practices of education. We create environments for children to explore, be curious, learn, and have fun. We believe that the best way to learn is through doing, creating and experiencing. We offer workshops, summer camps, and after-school programs in the following areas: ART – CRAFT – DESIGN – TECHNOLOGY.
The Little Dreamer’s Lab is created by a group of educators and designers with experience teaching children at all levels, in schools and youth organizations around the world.
We are passionate about bringing creativity into education, helping children develop their full potential as thinkers and doers. The Lab is a place where children can explore and express their creativity, while developing skills such as focus, problem solving and teamwork. We believe that learning through doing allows children to be fully alive – experiencing the world around them and becoming active participants in their own education.
In our art workshops we explore a variety of techniques and engage children in creative projects that develop their visual language, imagination and dexterity. Drawing, painting and sculpture are central to our curriculum. We also integrate craft into our programming; working with different materials such as clay, papier-mache and found objects. We teach children how to use their hands as tools for creation, developing problem solving skills by experimenting with new materials and techniques.
The Little Dreamer’s Lab is an integrated studio that brings technology into the creative process, helping children develop critical thinking skills through digital design tools. We believe that technology should be a tool for creativity, not just an end in itself.
